CO-ENZYME B COMPLEX
Co-enzyme B complex represents the pinnacle among dietary supplements with B vitamins. It contains all the vitamins of this group in a dual form - the vitamins themselves, but also their co-enzymes (methylated and phosphorylated forms). The result is the maximum possible availability for the organism.
Why are coenzymes important? B vitamins function in the body by being converted into co-enzymes naturally (by a process in the body). These then further aid enzymatic reactions (enzymes in the body trigger almost all important processes and coenzymes aid these processes). For example, vitamins B2 and B6 are converted to phosphorylated forms in the liver and further function as coenzymes. In contrast, vitamin B12 is active in the body as methylcobalamin (methylated form) and adenosylcobalamin (phosphorylated form).
