Vitamin K2
Brand new vitamin K2 extracted using special technology from natto - fermented soybeans. 1 capsule contains 50 mcg of vitamin K2 (menaquinone-7). Viridian vitamin K2 comes from Italy, where it is extracted from natto food fermented with Bacillus subtillis cultures.
There are three types of vitamin K1. K1 is obtained from food, K2 is produced by gut bacteria and K3 is a synthetic form. Vitamin K1 (phylloquinone) is a fat-soluble vitamin found mainly in leafy vegetables such as kale, spinach, broccoli or Brussels sprouts. Its name reflects its occurrence, "phyllo" meaning leaves in Greek. Vitamin K was discovered in 1929 by the Danish scientist Henrik Dam.
If we want to take calcium related to the condition of our bones and teeth, we should also take vitamin K and vitamin D at the same time. A very good natural source of vitamin K (specifically K2) is fermented products such as natto, tempeh or kimchi.
