Nutrend Isodrinx 420 g - Dosage
- dilution ratio for ISOtonic drink: 35 g (slightly heaped scoop) per 500 ml of water (osmolality 275-305 mOsm/kg)
- dilution ratio for HYPOtonic drink: 35 g per 750 ml of water (osmolality less than 250 mOsm/kg)
- according to the recommended dosage, mix in water, do not use mineral water
- after opening, store at 25 °C and consume within 2 months

A good drinking regime during exercise helps to rehydrate the body faster and replenish lost minerals.
Isotonic drink is designed for activities with very high intensity and relatively short duration (up to about 60 minutes).
Hypotonic drink should be taken during activities with longer duration (over 60 minutes) and for activities with lower intensity, every 10 minutes 100 ml.
Isotonic drink has the same osmotic pressure as body fluids. As human sweat has a lower osmolality than body fluids, care should be taken to ensure targeted and controlled dosing. The mineral content of sweat is inversely proportional to the ambient temperature (as the temperature rises, the mineral concentration in sweat decreases), therefore the amount of water used for the preparation of ISODRINX should be increased by 10 to 20 % at temperatures above 25 °C. Disproportionately increased consumption of isotonic beverages may result in a greater intake of electrolytes than output and therefore a higher intake than the actual requirement. This will result in a thickening of their concentration in the extracellular fluids and a disturbance of the osmotic balance between the extracellular fluid and the cells.

The mineral mixture is combined with simple sugars (glucose, sucrose) and complex carbohydrates (maltodextrin), which guarantees the effect of delivering "fast" and "slow" energy. The drink is intended in the recommended amount for each individual to routinely replenish fluids and essential minerals. Hypotonic drink should be taken during exercise to hydrate the body. Use the isotonic drink during exercise to replenish energy and lost minerals. Can also be used before a race to pre-supply carbohydrates and minerals.
