Heavyweight offers four key benefits:
1/ Heavyweight provides 60 grams of premium-quality protein and amino acids.
To achieve maximum results, you need the highest-quality proteins, peptides, and amino acids, which must also be present in optimal ratios. The highest-quality sources are whey protein and micellar casein. However, Heavyweight doesn’t just contain “any” whey protein and “any” other proteins. The foundation consists of two special types of whey hydrolysate, which is essentially protein broken down into chains of amino acids (peptides) and free amino acids.
• The first ingredient is the so-called HIGH DH whey protein hydrolysate, which is protein broken down to the highest degree of hydrolysis. HIGH DH contains a high proportion of free amino acids, di- and tripeptides (chains of two to three amino acids). Our bodies absorb the HIGH DH fraction the fastest—literally in seconds.
• Another component is LOW DH whey protein hydrolysate, i.e., protein hydrolyzed to a low degree. LOW DH contains a high proportion of so-called oligopeptides and polypeptides, i.e., chains of amino acids. LOW DH is thus the second-fastest-absorbing protein after HIGH DH.
• The third ingredient is a so-called select bioactive whey concentrate and native whey isolate (high in BCAAs and bioactive fractions)
• The fourth ingredient is pure ultrafiltered micellar casein, which is absorbed the slowest and thus supplies the body with essential amino acids for more than four hours.
