Vitamin B6 exists in several forms, which are converted into P5P in the liver. P5P is the so-called active form of vitamin B6. It is a coenzyme, which means it works with enzymes to help them perform their tasks more quickly and efficiently, making it a key element in biosynthesis. P5P plays an important role in many processes in the body, such as metabolism at the cellular level, regulation of hormonal activity, support of mental function, reduction of fatigue and exhaustion, and much more. When you take P5P as a source of vitamin B6, you gain an advantage because it bypasses the conversion process in the liver, which can alter the effects of vitamin B6.

Why unbuffered magnesium bisglycinate?

Chelation is a process in which organic compounds—in our case, amino acids—bind to metal cations, in this instance magnesium. Chelation is used to improve the body’s absorption of minerals.
