The healthy fats, antioxidants, and vitamins come from the ingredients used in production, such as hazelnuts, cocoa, and coconut oil.

The sugar content (max 7.3 g per 100 g) comes from the ingredients used in production. The maltitol contained in Proteinella is actually a sugar alcohol with a caloric value about 70% lower than that of regular sugar. A significant advantage of maltitol is that it has a glycemic index about half that of sucrose (regular sugar), meaning it does not raise blood sugar levels as much as regular sugar does. Proteinella is therefore ideal for those who want to enjoy sweets, as well as for people with diabetes. Furthermore, it does not cause tooth decay, and part of this sugar alcohol is not absorbed into the bloodstream.
It also contains fiber (cocoa-hazelnut, white chocolate), which slows the absorption of sugars and thus further slows the rise in blood sugar. What about fats?
