Beast Virus® V2.0 is the hottest new release from the most original Czech brand, Czech Virus®. The original Beast Virus probably needs no introduction; this product undeniably revolutionized the pre-workout category and set trends for other brands, which were more than happy to imitate Beast. However, time marches on, and so after 5 years, we’ve decided to innovate our original formula and bring the king of Czech pre-workout supplements back to the Czech market. We haven’t taken anything away—we’ve simply added 4 new ingredients, for a total of 13 active ingredients!

Goals of Beast Virus® V2.0

Five years ago, the original version of Beast set the standards and trends for what a modern pre-workout should be. The new version aims to provide the ultimate product that helps in every necessary aspect—it boosts strength and explosiveness, promotes ice-cold focus, delivers extreme blood flow to the muscles, and delays fatigue for as long as possible. It is, therefore, an ALL-IN-ONE product, but take note— it contains no unnecessary creatine, BCAAs, or sugar. We have nothing against creatine and BCAAs per se, but if your pre-workout dose already contains 5–6 g of BCAAs (a completely basic amount), how can you take 10 g without consuming excessive amounts of other ingredients? It’s very difficult, and you’re unnecessarily limited by this.

Synergy of Ingredients

Compared to the original nine ingredients, the new version contains thirteen! We formulated this blend with the synergy between these ingredients in mind to get the most out of the product. A combination of time-tested beta-alanine, taurine, and caffeine helps boost strength. For endurance, there’s a combination of a massive dose of L-citrulline malate paired with inosine (which improves oxygen transport and allows you to train in an oxygen-deficient state), grape seed extract, taurine, caffeine, and more. For focus and the so-called muscle-mind connection, you’ll benefit from choline, tyrosine, and caffeine. Muscle blood flow and the “pump” are ensured by citrulline combined with beet nitrates. All of this is further enhanced by the addition of piperine, which improves the absorption of the other ingredients.

Original Formula

Beast Virus® has been our founder’s formula from the very beginning and differs significantly from other well-known (including foreign) pre-workout supplements—not counting, of course, the aggressive knockoffs of Beast itself, where the formula is very similar. This formula was developed based on years of experimentation with various ingredients and their combinations before we created the final version, which has thrilled the majority of the fitness community in the Czech Republic. We believe you’ll appreciate the new formula, as we haven’t removed anything from the composition—we’ve simply added four new ingredients.

New Ingredients in Version 2.0

We’ve added four new ingredients to the original, highly effective blend. These are Betaine HCl, Inosine, Beet Nitrates, and Vitis Vinifera (grape seed). Betaine improves the body’s utilization of nutrients and substances and ensures the breakdown of proteins into amino acids. Inosine improves oxygen transport and enables training to build aerobic capacity. Beet nitrates (first used by a Czech brand in the m3/s PUMP) are converted in the body into nitric oxide (NO) and improve blood flow and vascularity. Vitis Vinifera provides increased blood flow and antioxidant properties.

Manufacturing and Ingredients

All ingredients in Beast Virus® V2.0 are laboratory-tested for purity and prohibited substances. Production then takes place at a company with over 20 years of experience in dietary supplements and its own ČSN EN ISO 9001:2009 quality certification. We have been working with this supplier since the brand’s inception and have an exceptionally strong relationship with them.

No Unnecessary Additives

You won’t find any cheap fillers, controversial sweeteners, or synthetic dyes in this product. It naturally features natural flavoring and is sweetened with steviol glycosides and sucralose. To improve flowability, the raw material contains silicon dioxide (already in the base), and we also add vegetable magnesium stearate to minimize any potential clumping.

When we launched the first Beast on the Czech market, none of the pre-workout supplements contained high amounts of citrulline or citrulline malate. Every single one relied on the tried-and-true combination of arginine or AAKG. Beast Virus® was the first to include 6 grams of citrulline malate per serving and set the trend that all other Czech pre-workout supplements followed (go ahead and compare the ingredients—you’ll see). We’re glad we were able to set a trend for manufacturers who’ve been around for decades and are now forced to make higher-quality products because of the competition—us. Beast Virus® V2.0 builds on the solid foundation of the original Beast, which is so popular. We didn’t make any compromises, so you’ll find all the ingredients from the “original” here in the same amounts; we’ve simply added four very interesting ingredients that elevate the product to the big leagues. We believe this formula will suit an even wider range of users and push them to train at their absolute maximum without any “crash,” which is often seen with ordinary pre-workout supplements.

INGREDIENTS

L-Citrulline Malate
Citrulline is converted in the body to arginine and then to nitric oxide (NO). According to research, citrulline can increase arginine and NO levels in the body more effectively than arginine alone. Arginine is broken down further in the body, whereas citrulline is already ready for absorption and use. Citrulline malate has been proven to boost energy; according to research, it increases ATP levels by 35%.

Beta-Alanine
Beta-alanine improves strength, explosiveness, endurance, and recovery. According to some studies, it even helps reduce body fat and build muscle.

Taurine
Taurine improves endurance and muscle strength. It can also increase nitric oxide (NO) production. Exercise depletes taurine stores, which directly leads to a decrease in strength and endurance; therefore, it is advisable to take taurine before every workout.

Betaine HCl
Betaine hydrochloride improves digestion and the body’s utilization of nutrients by increasing the amount of stomach acid (hydrochloric acid), which breaks down proteins into amino acids. It works excellently in combination with beets, increasing choline levels and cysteine metabolism. This supports cellular hydration (better muscle pump).

Inosine
Inosine improves oxygen transport in the body and allows you to train longer in the so-called “oxygen debt” state. It is a precursor to ATP—it increases energy levels.

Choline Bitartrate
Choline plays an important role in brain, nerve, and muscle function. It enhances brain function, improves mood, shortens reaction time, and aids concentration. It works synergistically with caffeine and L-tyrosine to provide pure mental stimulation and prevent a decline in endurance.

L-Tyrosine
Tyrosine boosts alertness, focus, mood, and energy during intense exercise, ideally in combination with caffeine.

Beet Nitrates
Beets (and other green leafy vegetables) contain inorganic nitrate (NO3-), which is converted into nitrite (NO2-) in the human body after ingestion and circulates in the blood. In the presence of limited oxygen, the body then converts NO₂⁻ into nitric oxide (NO)—a molecule that plays an important role in the vascular system.

Caffeine
Caffeine can improve strength and endurance and delay fatigue during exercise. Caffeine also supports the production of nitric oxide (NO). It complements Synephrine and L-Tyrosine very well.

Vitis Vinifera
Grape seed extract (95% proanthocyanidins) is a bioflavonoid with antioxidant properties; it increases circulation and thereby improves the delivery of nutrients to the muscles. According to some studies, it increases blood flow.

Bitter Orange Peel Extract
Bitter orange peel extract (10 mg of synephrine) immediately boosts usable energy and stimulates the body. It has a thermogenic effect and works synergistically with caffeine.

Black pepper (95% piperine) improves the absorption of other substances by 30 to 2,000%.

OTHER INGREDIENTS

Vegetable magnesium stearate (anti-caking agent), Sweeteners: Steviol glycosides, Sucralose, Flavoring, coloring: beta-carotene (mandarin flavor), beet juice (sour apple and raspberry flavors), citric acid (sour apple and raspberry flavors, acidity regulator).

HISTORY OF BEAST VIRUS

The founding of Beast Virus® and its first batch officially date back to the fall of 2013. However, initial testing of the combination of ingredients had already been underway since October 2012, when founder Patrik Záruba and his colleagues from his job at the time were testing its effects and functionality. It should be noted that the first version was almost unflavored, and the testers had to prepare themselves—unexpectedly—for a rather strong stomach. However, the formula of active ingredients was already quite good at that time, and it was possible to deduce the direction in which Beast Virus® should head. After a few trials and test batches, the formula settled into the classic, well-known version—9 active ingredients in mega doses, the first use of an enormous amount of citrulline malate among Czech brands (later successfully adopted by most competitors), the first sour flavor on the market (pre-workout supplements used to be sweet), and one of the first products with a completely transparent ingredient list, allowing users to know exactly what they were consuming. We’re glad that most Czech manufacturers have now moved away from “secret blends,” though that was certainly not the standard in the past. As is also common practice in the Czech Republic, Beast Virus® was copied (more than once); the sad part is that even large, well-known brands—from whom one would expect originality and product development expertise—didn’t shy away from these practices.
